4. Booking process
- Check availability and submit a booking request through the form on the “Book” page, or via WhatsApp or e-mail.
- Submitting a booking request does not constitute a confirmed booking and creates no obligations for either party until written confirmation from the host.
- After checking availability, the host will confirm the availability in writing, the total price of the stay, and the bank details needed to make the bank transfer. Payment is made exclusively by bank transfer.
- The booking is considered confirmed after the bank transfer has been made and after the host has confirmed receipt of it in writing.
- The number of guests and the rooms booked may be changed only with the host's prior approval and subject to availability.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are expressed in euros (EUR), per room and per night, and represent the final price for the accommodation services, with no hidden costs. Rates may vary depending on the period of the stay, including between weekdays and weekends, as well as during special periods such as public holidays or New Year's Eve.
We offer two types of rates: a non-refundable rate and a flexible rate, each with the cancellation policy described in section 6.
6. Cancellation and amendment policy
| Rate type | Cancellation policy |
|---|---|
| Non-refundable rate | The non-refundable booking is non-refundable. |
| Flexible rate | Cancellations made at least 14 days before the arrival date (or at least 30 days before for stays during public holidays and New Year's Eve) are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking value. For cancellations made after these deadlines, the booking amount is non-refundable. |
If you wish to amend a booking (the period of the stay, the number of guests or other details), please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to find a solution, subject to availability.
7. Check-in and check-out
- Check-in: from 15:00.
- Check-out: until 11:00.
If you would like to arrive earlier or leave later, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to find a solution, subject to availability.
8. House rules
- In accordance with Romanian law, we are required to record the identification details of each guest. Please have an original, valid photo ID (passport or identity card) ready for each person aged over 18 in your group.
- We only note the details from the original document and do not keep any copies or photocopies of it - the process takes about a minute. Unfortunately, we cannot host a person that does not present a valid photo ID, so please make sure each guest has theirs on arrival.
- Please respect the quietness of the place and of the neighbours between 22:00 and 08:00. Parties are only possible when you book all 4 guest rooms or when there are no other guests staying at the property, and with the hosts' prior agreement. We are happy to support parties for special occasions - we only ask you to please respect the neighbours. If you intend to organise a party, please mention this in your booking request.
- Pets are welcome in the old house but cannot be accommodated in the guest house. For the safety of all guests and animals, the pet must have a valid health record, with vaccinations and deworming up to date. If you wish to come with a pet, please mention this in your booking request.
- The use of prohibited substances and any aggressive, offensive or violent behaviour or language are not permitted. In situations that may endanger the safety of guests, hosts or the property, we will request the support of the authorities.
- Smoking inside the property is not permitted.
- To preserve the comfort and hygiene of the property, bringing or using inflatable mattresses or other external sleeping solutions is not permitted. Please respect the maximum capacity of the rooms.
- For safety reasons, the use inside the property of personal heaters, candles or other open-flame sources is not permitted.
- Please treat our space with the same care you would give your own home. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or improper use during their stay.
- Additional practical details (parking, meals, children) can be found in the “Frequently Asked Questions” section.
- Confirming the booking by making the bank transfer for the accommodation services constitutes the guest's full acceptance of the house rules.
9. Right of withdrawal (accommodation)
Because your booking is for specific dates, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. If you cancel a booking, the cancellation policy in section 6 applies.
10. Liability and force majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as extreme weather, utility outages or other force majeure situations), certain services may not be provided as originally planned. In such cases, we will communicate openly with our guests and will do our best, by mutual agreement, to find the most suitable solution, whether by rescheduling the stay or by refunding the amounts for the services that could not be provided.
11. Personal data
We process your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy .
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you experience any unpleasant situation or have a complaint, please contact us at [email protected]. We will carefully review each situation and do our best to find an amicable solution. If you consider it necessary, you may also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), including through the alternative dispute resolution (SAL) mechanisms.
13. Applicable law and amendments
These terms and conditions are governed by the Romanian law in force. We reserve the right to update our T&Cs content periodically; however, for each booking, the version valid on the date of the host's written confirmation of the booking applies. In the event of any discrepancy between the Romanian version and the English translation, the Romanian version prevails.
